Swedish based Starbreeze Studios, the developers behind the acclaimed Xbox title The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay, have today announced an agreement with Majesco to develop a title for the next-generation of consoles.
In a statement Jesse Sutton, President of Majesco confirmed that, "Having access to top-tier development talent and technology is paramount for long-term successâ¦Our partnership with Starbreeze underscores our commitment in securing talented and creative studios to develop our products as well as assist us in providing content for current and future platforms."
Johan Kristiansson, CEO for Starbreeze, added, "Majesco has a fine reputation in the development community for partnering with its developers to assemble a single, cohesive team dedicated to producing quality products. We are excited to be working with them on creating content for the next generation of video game systems."
At this time no details have been provided as to what the end title will be, although we will have more on the deal shortlyâ¦
