Polished TV spot revealed as the countdown to the MTV extravaganza begins...
Further to earlier reports that May 12th will see the unveiling of Xbox360 on MTV, the music channel has today revealed the TV commercial used to promote the 30 minute show.
Slick and perhaps overly so, the 30-second long TV spot shows a green electric ribbon travelling across global cities as people stop to view this âmarvelâ before the camera pulls out to reveal the world surrounded by concentric circles before ending with a new slick san-serif âXbox.â
As over-produced as the commercial is, the one thing that actually stands out is how different the approach to advertising the Xbox360 is from the bold assertive campaigns that launched the original Xbox at the end of 2001 and Spring 2002.
