Midway release the first screens from Mortal Kombat: Deception, hinting at bizarre mini-games aplenty...

Midway today sent us the first selection of screens from the forthcoming multi-format title âMortal Kombat: Deceptionâ.

As you can see the fighting action looks to be similar to last yearâs âMortal Kombat: Deadly Allianceâ with the return of some familiar faces; however weâre more intrigued by the mini-games featured within the screens, the first depicting what appears to be some sort of âSuper Puzzle Fighter II Turboâ adaptation complete with super-deformed characters and finally some re-working of Chess starring MK characters.

âMortal Kombat: Deceptionâ is scheduled for release towards the end of the year; weâll have a closer look soon.
