Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots is set in a world overrun by private military companies (PMCs), wars are no longer fought over nations or ideologies. Joined by a familiar cast of characters, Solid Snake must once again return to the battlefield to confront a life-long rival who is manipulating wars from the one world which soldiers will always have a place...

We asked 100 people if they would like to see Metal Gear Solid 4 on the Xbox 360; our survey said...


Whenever a survey e-mail arrives in our Inbox you can bet it's treated in the same manner as the hundreds of other pieces of daily junk e-mail that clogs up the box - so we'll treat this one with ever so slight scepticism at this stage.

According to US reports, one of these survey e-mails has recently alluded to the possibility of Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns on the Patriots arriving on the Xbox 360. The survey allegedly asks a handful of questions on the proposal: would you like to see MGS4 on the Xbox 360; would you buy a 360 to play MGS4; how satisfied you've been with Konami's efforts on the Xbox 360...

Although it's not quite Kojima-san coming out and expressing his newfound love for Microsoft, there could be something in the report; expect further comments soon.

I'm a little confused. Was Mr. Kojima going to end his highly acclaimed MGS franchise with the grand finale of having Solid Snake ascend up into heaven in a flying Porshe? Very interesting.

This is a prime example of developers blaming someone/something else for their short falls. For an example of a great looking game that relied on superb programming (and not a super computer) you only have to look at Half Life 2. I wish these lazy ... [ Read full comment... ]

I dont really care how good it looks as long as it plays well.I think the best in the series is Solid on ps1.it plays great and and has a great story.stick to that and all is well in my book.Besides it will hit the 360 in a year or two.lol.be well al... [ Read full comment... ]

again.... it doesn't matter what console you use, its up to the developers to bring the goods...After all, what good is an xbox or ps3 if the games are no good. Stop arguing about which console is best, and just enjoy the games

besides haze, killzone 2, R2, FF, and many more ps3 just sucks....jp ..... ps3 is gonna win this year
360 is a little baby compared to the ps3 and which get sick more often ..
