Konami release new video footage of Metal Gear Solid 3, sending us into mass speculation mode…

As our man from Japan wrote in his latest update from Tokyo, Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater certainly wowed the crowd with yet another cryptic but revealing trailer of the title in action.

Thankfully TVG has managed to acquire a direct lead of the trailer for you to check out; at just over 8 minutes in duration the trailer certainly packs the surprises, although given our lack of knowledge in the spoken word of the Japanese literally anything could be happening â“ thatâs not to say itâs any less impressive.

In particular the depiction of Snake being blinded is perfectly highlighted, as TVG first noticed back in June 2003. Now the MGS storyline lost us years ago, however we do vaguely remember that the Big Boss wore an eye patch over his right eye; whilst the infamous E3â03 promo-booklet contained italic letters that spelt out BIG BOSSâ¦

Even more intriguing is the ominous appearance of âTHE ENDâ, backing up rumours that this will be the last Metal Gear Solid title in the current storyline that includes Metal Gear Solid and Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty â“ MG fans can rest easy that if this is the case, we seriously doubt that it will be the last weâll see of Solid Snake.

David Hayter needs to exercise and grow some hair on his head and chin to be solid snake. Plus I think he's perfect for it. But iuno about christian bale as the snake...he's a better liquid than solid

Oh and btw, you people need to stop jumping on one guy. Im sure there are about 20 other actors out there who could play snake. Jumping on one guy and saying anyone else would be horrible is just plain stupid.

Hugh Jackman is not nearly as good an actor as Christian Bale. Plus he stars in to many cornball action movies. Bale is the greatest actor of our generation. If he stars in this movie it is bound to be incredible.
