Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers Screenshots News

Some images FROM EA’s game based on the second of the films in Peter Jackson’s epic trilogy.

This game surprised us at E3 in the sense that it looked like it could be rather fun to play. Big name movie licenses farmed out in a clear marketing manner often get us worried about the end result due to many bad experiences. It seems that EA are not stupid and the rubbish film tie-ins of old seem to be a thing of the past - methinks GoldenEye may have had a hand in that.

Anyway these new screenshots of Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers look rather impressive and show off how the film has transferred to game. The graphics seem quite good managing to accurately capture the atmosphere of the books and films. We have to say however that technically this is not as impressive as one may have expected - given the amazing special effects in the film. There is still time for to improve graphically and perhaps this is a sign that gameplay is being put ahead of technical considerations - who knows, guess we'll just have to wait to find out.
