Hideo Kojima lines-up the principal voice actors for the Japanese language version of the PlayStation3 title...
Anticipation surrounding the development of a Metal Gear Solid title is always high, with every scrap of information subject to all kinds of analysis, so when MGS creator Hideo Kojima spoke about some of the voice actors making a reappearance in Metal Gear Solid 4, it's going to attract attention.
In one of his latest blogs, Kojima-san confirmed some of the voice actors that will take part in the Japanese language versions of the PlayStation3 title, and whilst Solid Snake veteran Akio Otsuka will of course make his return there's one name that is sure to throw up all kinds of questions: Banjo Ginga.
The name might not ring a bell, but Ginga-san has been involved with the all of the Metal Gear Solid instalments to date, and whilst he voiced Major Zero in Snake Eater, his more well-known character is Snake's clone-twin, Liquid Snake. So does this mean that the character will be returning as a voice in Ocelot's head (courtesy of the transplant in MGS2), or will the character be brought back to life with clone technology? We'll just have to wait and see.
We'll have more on Metal Gear Solid 4 in the future...
