SCEE announces that the suicidal mammals are to be released on the PSP...
Sony Computer Entertainment Europe has announced that the classic title Lemmings is to be released on PSP. The franchise, which is now 15 years old, was a massive hit in the early 1990s and was released on a huge range of platforms from the Sinclair Spectrum to the 3DO, and everything else in between (including the Commodore Amiga and the SNES.)
The game, where players have to try and save as many of the green haired suicide inclined rodents as possible, will be given a new lease of life on the PSP with the inclusion of a level editor that will allow gamers to create, upload, and download custom made levels to an exclusive Lemmings community.
With over 100 levels set across five themes including sewers and fields, Lemmings is set to be reborn on the PSP soon. Thereās no news on a release date yet, but weāll have more on Lemmings shortly...
