Job posting appears for Team Bondi/Rockstar Games' period thriller; vacancy requires experience with both Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3...
Announced back in September 2006 and currently in development at Sydney's Team Bondi studio, Rockstar Games' stylish looking L.A. Noire had been looking like an exclusive for PlayStation 3, but a recent online job posting suggests that the title may be heading to Xbox 360 too.
Outlining the studio's project of Bogart proportions, the job description goes on to detail the various responsibilities of the Lead Animator, including motion capture, character animation, and animation/cinematic principles in a game production environment - before stating that the role requires experience with both Xbox 360 and PS3 development. Rockstar announced in February 2007 that they had licensed NaturalMotion's physics-driven animation toolset Euphoria for their next-generation title, which assumedly extends to Team Bondai's thriller, so it would seem that both technologies are being used in the game's development.
The posting is the closest thing to confirmation of the title's Xbox 360 credentials to date, though so far, Rockstar Games is yet to comment. Oh, and the job posting is on Gamasutra if you're interested in applying.
