Take-Two confirms that it anticipates the Team Bondai film-noir title to be released after October 2007...
Earlier in the autumn, Rockstar Games confirmed the development of LA Noire, a next-generation title currently in development at the Australian-based Team Bondai. Today in a statement confirming that twenty titles are in various stages of production for PlayStation3, Rockstar's parent company Take-Two Interactive also listed a selection of games according to their anticipated release.
The list included the likes of NHL 2K7, NBA 2K7, The Darkness, and GTA IV.
Set for Europe on October 19th 2007, Grand Theft Auto IV is obviously one title that's hotly anticipated over the coming twelve months - following that on the list was LA Noire, confirming that the game will be released after GTA IV. Today's statement marks the first time that any sort of broad release period for the film-noir inspired titles has been made, though a more precise date than just "after October 2007" remains unknown.
Rockstar are yet to confirm whether LA Noire will be an exclusive to PlayStation3.
We'll have more news shortly...
