Konami Responds To MGO Issues News

No concrete plans to the continued issues caused by the Metal Gear Online Gene update...

Konami today issued an apology over the continued problems caused by the recent 'Gene' update to Metal Gear Online.

Since its release on July 17th 2008, MGO players have suffered numerous issues, ranging from functionality and features missing to server load issues and payment being wrongly calculated.

In a recent update, Konami have stated that "there are no permanent solutions we can announce at this present moment", suggesting that it's time to just wait and keep your fingers crossed.

Metal Gear Online was subject to a beta test prior to the game's release, which saw numerous teething problems that Konami evidently haven't been able to iron out and is suggestive once again of the problems PlayStation faces with its open online platform.

1. ITS METAL GEAR! EVEN FOR A METAL GEAR GAME THIS GAME IS FREAKING ROCK SOLID!
2. It's the only mgs game with a multiplayer component. (except for mgs3:subsistence)

beauty and the beast, liquid, snake, frank jaguer, raiden, roy campbell, naomi, otacon, vamp, all great characters in mgs4 except frank aka grey fox in mgs1

That was a terrible review for an incredible game, landmark scenes of the game were ruined for first time players.
