Coded Arms Assault for the PLAYSTATION3 casts players as a hacker entering a virtual world in an attempt to overthrow an evil corporation bent on world chaos. Set in cyberspace, players take on fearsome enemies, unleash deadly viruses and download new weapons as they fight to bring down this new threat. The entire campaign mode of the game can be played online co-operatively with up to four players.

Coded Arms PS3, Gradius VI, Wii unnamed Action and RPG titles removed from Konami's schedule...


Recent reports of the cancellation of Konami's Coded Arms debut on the PlayStation3 appear to be true, as Famitsu today revealed that the first-person-shooter is one of four titles recently canned by the Japanese publisher. Alongside Coded Arms Assault, Konami have also stuck the knife into a new Gradius title planned for the PS3 along with the Japanese only Powerful Pro Baseball.

PlayStation3 fans aren't the only ones to suffer from Konami's ruthless side, with two unannounced Wii titles also facing the chop after being revealed during the Konami's initial Wii line-up as Action and RPG titles.
