The first set of details on the debut Winning Eleven on the DS emerge...
Konami has today released the first snippets of information surrounding Winning Eleven on Nintendo DS, which is set to hits Japanese stores at the end of September. The game, which will be released under the Pro Evolution banner in Europe, will feature a 'World Tour' mode that will see players travel the globe and build their own original team as they go. It's unclear whether the mode will feature in the home console versions.
Players will also be able to personalise the team emblem thanks to the DS's touch screen functionality, with Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection allowing gamers to exchange team mates.
So now it seems that a true world cup is in the making when Winning Eleven/Pro Evo DS is released across the globe later in the year.
