PSP to get a second instalment whilst the series is to make its debut on PlayStation3...
Konami has confirmed the development of two new titles in the cyber-FPS series Coded Arms with Coded Arms Assault for PlayStation3 and Coded Arms Contagion for PSP expected to be released during 2007.
Powered by Epic's Unreal Engine 3, Coded Arms Assault on PS3 sees players take the fight against an evil corporation into the virtual world as they follow the story of a hacker on journey to shut the company down. The title will be co-operatively playable by up to four gamers, with further multiplayer options for up to sixteen.
Having already made its debut on PSP, the Coded Arms series is set to return to the handheld in Coded Arms Contagion, with players protecting military information from cyber-terrorists. As with the PlayStation3 title, Coded Arms Contagion will feature a number of online multiplayer modes, with gametypes for both Ad Hoc and Infrastructure connections.
