Konami unveil a free-roaming crime sim based in the inner city lives of Afro-American gangs – sound familiar?
Konami have today announced that they are to release Crime Life: Gang Wars on PS2, Xbox, and PC during 2005. Taking place in a free-roaming city, the game features a strong narrative that nods to iconic gang films including New Jack City, Boys ân The Hood, and Menace to Society and follows the development of a small-town homie who rises up to the ranks of gang leader.
The game, which takes place in the fictitious âGrand Central City,â will feature a lot of Hip-Hop influences and be a mix of action and strategy will players having to protect his gang members in vicious gang wars.
Not much else is known at the moment, and rumours that the protagonistâs name is CJ are yet to be confirmedâ¦
