Metal Gear Acid mixes the astounding aesthetics the series is famed for with a unique card-based battle system. Assuming the role of series hero, Solid Snake, Metal Gear Acid is set in the year 2016 and begins as a terrorist faction hijacks a jumbo jet carrying a man understood to be the next US President. The terrorists demand the handing over of a project known only as 'Pythagoras', which is understood to be in development on the isolated Lobito Island.

Konami Add Metal Gear Acid Multiplayer News

After a muted reception within Japan, Konami confirm plans to ramp up the content for the Western release...

After the less-then-stellar reception upon its Japanese release, Konami have today confirmed plans to bolster the content featured within Metal Gear Acid upon its release in Europe and America.

The game will now feature a multiplayer mode of sorts, allowing two-players to engage in combat from various VR missions taken from Metal Gear Solid and Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty. Successfully winning a bout allows the victor to purchase rare cards, which can then be used in the single-player campaign.
