Kojima Productions Releases MGS Database News

Long after Snake has gone MGS fanatics can scrutinise every little detail with the first MGS4 downloadable content...


Kojima Productions today unveiled the first piece of downloadable content for Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, allowing fanatics to pore over every detail from the blockbuster series.

The Metal Gear Solid Database contains details on every game in the series, along with a close look at every character that has made an appearance. Harking back to the 'GENE, MEME, SCENE' tagline that accompanies the series, the database provides a close look at the relationships between characters and the chronology of the series.

Those who've yet to complete Guns of the Patriots can also take advantage of the 'blackout' option, which removes any references to the title from the database.

Unfortunately although the application has been released in Japan and the US, neither SCEE nor Konami have confirmed a European date as of yet.

1. ITS METAL GEAR! EVEN FOR A METAL GEAR GAME THIS GAME IS FREAKING ROCK SOLID!
2. It's the only mgs game with a multiplayer component. (except for mgs3:subsistence)

beauty and the beast, liquid, snake, frank jaguer, raiden, roy campbell, naomi, otacon, vamp, all great characters in mgs4 except frank aka grey fox in mgs1
