With Metal Gear Solid 4 stepping into the final months of development, Konami confirms it won't be the last for Hideo Kojima...
Speaking to Konami's marketing VP Anthony Crouts, Next-Gen has revealed Konami's intention for Hideo Kojima to carry on his association with the Metal Gear Solid series.
In the interview Crouts states: "I'm sure Kojima is never going to let go of Metal Gear Solid - trust me.
Snake's a big character, so as a franchise I think he'll always hold it near and dear to his heart.
"In one capacity or another, he will always be involved in the Metal Gear franchise."
Rather than a repeat of his decision not to step down after Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater however, it's to be expected that Konami would want to continue their most prolific franchise. Whilst Kojima-san may wish to try his hand at other projects, it's inevitable that he'll retain a certain amount of control in the same manner that Shigeru Miyamoto does with the Zelda franchise being led by Eiji Aonuma.
We're just hoping he finds the time to produce the rumoured update to Snatcher.

besides haze, killzone 2, R2, FF, and many more ps3 just sucks....jp ..... ps3 is gonna win this year
360 is a little baby compared to the ps3 and which get sick more often ..
