Departing from Action RTS formula of the previous Kingdom Under Fire series, Circle of Doom makes full use of the Xbox 360's power to present adrenaline-pumping action with stylish combat maneuvers and eye-popping effects. Players will explore randomly generated vast dungeons and battle monsters swarming the screen in thousands and attacking from all directions along the floors, walls, and ceilings of the dungeons.

Kingdom Under Fire Returns To PC News

Developers Blueside confirm that the action RPG will be heading for PCs; Korean Beta in late 2007...

Originally released on PCs back in 2001, Phantagram's Kingdom Under Fire franchise made the jump to Xbox for the follow-up titles Kingdom Under Fire: The Crusaders and Kingdom Under Fire: Heroes before a third console title in the series, Circle of Doom, was announced for Xbox 360 early in February 2006.

Today the Korean based KUF developers Blueside has confirmed that Kingdom Under Fire: Circle of Doom will also be released for PCs, with the game optimised for the platform.

Making the announcement, S.D. Kim, Vice President of BLUESIDE said, "We've got a dream team here. BLUESIDE and PHANTAGRAM have been creating revolutionary gaming experience on consoles and Dragonfly has a history of developing top-class PC Online titles. I strongly believe the synergy of the three studios working together will result in the most exciting and genre-redefining PC Online title for the global market, namely Kingdom Under Fire: Circle of Doom."

The Xbox 360 version is set for release in the second quarter of 2007 with a Beta test of the PC version pencilled in for Korea later in that year. We'll have more news shortly...
