Another innovative peripheral based party title is on the way as Konami announce a May release for Karaoke Stage.
Following on from the success of dance mat based rythym games Konami's Karaoke Stage evolves the burgeoning party genre utilising a USB microphone and a proprietary voice-recognition system to judge the gamers pitch, volume and rhythm as they sing.
Boasting an impressive catalogue of songs from karaoke musts such as 'Wind Beneath my Wings' to modern favourites from acts such as REM and Barenaked Ladies, Karaoke Stage is bound to have everyone up and making a complete fool of themselves in front of friends and family.
We've been eagerly waiting to see more of this game since last years ECTS and certainly can't wait to get our hands on it here, we'll bring you more on it when we do.
