Rare confirm yet another delay to a title that’s been in development for over four years and across two platforms…
It can hardly come as a surprise given the tempestuous development of bringing Kameo: Elements of Power from the GameCube to the Xbox, however Rare today confirmed that âafter a lot of thought and discussionâ between themselves and Microsoft, to once again push back the release of the title.
The reason behind the decision is to incorporate several changes and new features, with a statement from Rare claiming:
âWe realise this is frustrating in the short term to all those of you avidly following the game's progress and itching to bust some Troll heads, and we can only apologise for keeping you in suspense, but rest assured that every last one of these new developments is designed to enhance and expand the overall experience. We want this to be the best game possible, so like any delays we may have instigated in the past (surely not) we have every confidence that this one will ultimately work out for the best. Stay tuned for further updates.â
Sadly no further release date was offered, however the question has to be whether Rare can work their wonders and release the game before the Xbox is long gone and weâre all playing on its successor.
