BioWare's epic Star Wars role-playing game sells a lot, quickly...
'Knights of the Old Republic' has sold two hundred and fifty thousand copies in four days of it's release in America, that is a lot and it is certainly quick, the only question now is; where will it stop?
Robert Bach, who is senior vice president of Microsoft's home and entertainment division and chief Xbox officer, said that this was a new record for sales on the console. We guess that it will sell over a million rather quickly and probably keep going, possibly breaking more Xbox records. We also guess that this sort of record breaking, or at least very rapid sales, will be repeated when the game gets released in Europe.
LucasArts and BioWare must be happy, and it's reassuring to see that a decent Star Wars game still does it at retail. Note to developers and publishers; people are getting better at telling the difference between licensed dross and decent tie-ins...
