THQ officially announces the development of the Juiced sequel; Hot Import Nights licence secured for the racer...
Following reports in recent days, THQ has today formally announced the development of Juiced 2: Hot Import Nights for Xbox 360, PlayStation3, PlayStation2, PSP, Nintendo DS, and PC.
The racer is licensed with the Hot Import Nights brand, a touring import tuner car show that features extensively customised vehicles over two nights, and will include Race and Drift racing modes, together with huge amounts of customisation options for players. The game will also include "Driver DNA", moulding the racing traits of players, which can then be downloaded to race against In events.
"THQ studio Juice Games is utilizing its vast racing pedigree and proprietary technology to deliver groundbreaking new game-play features in addition to working closely with Hot Import Nights to accurately capture the tuning and street racing culture," said Bob Aniello, Senior Vice President of Worldwide Marketing, THQ. "We look forward to bringing this global franchise to next-generation systems for the first time."
"Juiced 2: HIN introduces a thrilling new drifting component and lets players personalize their experience both on and offline with ultra realistic Driver DNA," said Colin Bell, General Manager, Juice Games. Juiced 2: Hot Import Nights is scheduled for released during Autumn 2007.
