UK newspaper suggests that the VAC's appeal has been overturned...


Reports emanating from The Metro have today suggested that a High Court judge has blocked the Video Appeal's Committee's (VAC) attempts to overturn the BBFC's original decision to ban the sale of Rockstar Games Manhunt 2.

Fearing that the VAC's decision to appeal the decision could have serious implications for not only videogames but the watchdog's role in general, Mr Justice Mitting yesterday ruled that the appeals committee must reconsider its decision.

Expect more on this painfully slow process soon.
