A few images from the GameCube version of the game of the remake of a classic.
After seeing a trailer and a bit about the making of the film, we're a tad more optimistic at how it will turn out. Okay, so fans of the original may be aghast that the subtleness of the original seems to be replaced by over the top stunts, Hollywood style. However there was a nice thing with a helicopter in a tunnel chasing some Minis as well as some spectacular looking stuff somewhere with lots of snow. Things like that could make some interesting set pieces for a game...
These shots from the GameCube version show some nice cars and backgrounds, hopefully the scale of the game will be quite large, as it is set in LA, we assume you'll have to escape out of the city, which is quite sprawling. The one with the Mini and the armored truck and the rubble does seem to hint at some large set pieces being used, which could be fun. All will be revealed when the game is released in September.
