US reports suggest the “consolidation” of illustrious developer behind Deus Ex and Daikatana…
The pinch of consolidation currently sweeping throughout the videogames industry, ahead of what many suggest will be a âcostlyâ next-generation, was today again highlighted with news that one of the most illustrious game developers have had to shut.
As today, Gamespot is reporting Eidosâ decision to shut its Ion Storm studio in an effort to consolidate its development capabilities across North America, with the suggestion that many will resume work at Crystal Dynamics, currently working on the revitalization of Lara Croft in Tomb Raider 7.
