As the only credible franchise left at Interplay, the US publisher announces yet another game based on the license...
Having sold virtually all of its franchises and facing a shaky financial future, Interplay today announced a new title in arguably its sole remaining profitable license.
Hunter: The Reckoning Redeemer is an Xbox exclusive title, which once again sees players trying to save the town of Ashcroft from a twisted plot to take over the town.
Joining the four original hunter characters will be an all-new character, along with 20 new areas and the ability to download new content through Xbox Live! Whilst we enjoyed the original, we canât help but feel this is a desperate attempt to cash-in and sounds suspiciously like the recently announced Playstation2 version; quite why theyâre not making this fully Xbox Live! enabled seems bizarre to us, especially considering that the gameplay is perfectly suited to online play!
Hunter: The Reckoning Redeemer is scheduled for release in Q4; until then make sure to check out the first screens.
