Communication between online and offline Matrix Online players has been announced by Warner Bros and SEGA...
Warner Brothers Interactive and SEGA have today announced that there is to be a seamless integration between Matrix Online gamers regardless of whether they are playing the game at the time or not, through the use of AOLās Instant Messenger service, ICQ or Apple iChat.
The system means that players can remain in character when they are away from the game, as well as giving them the ability to badger fellow gamers who arenāt playing the game at the time. Certain services will also be available that will allow communication with players via their PDAs and of course that quintessential Matrix gadget ā“ their mobile phone.
The Matrix Online will be released on March 25th 2005, weāll have more soon...
