New screens from Midnight Club 2, however don't blame us if you end up in the nick!
Midnight Club 2 is the sequel to the so-so Playstation2 racer that was released last year, and currently in development at Rockstar San Diego (previously Angel Studios) for the Playstation2, Xbox and PC.
The game pits players as street racers, competing in illegal street races in Paris, Tokyo and LA, as they race to earn cash and new motors.
âMidnight Club redefined the racing genre by offering an entirely new freedom and style never before seen in a racing game,â said Dan Houser, Rockstar Gamesâ Vice President of Creative. âMidnight Club II evolves those trademark ideas, adds a host of innovative features with a revolutionary new design creating a racing experience that continues the tradition of excellence and innovation expected from a Rockstar title. We believe we are making the fastest and most complete racing game people will have ever seen.â
Midnight Club 2 is scheduled for release on the Playstation2 first in February 2003, followed by PC and Xbox versions later in the year.
