Rumours suggest that the beautiful Playstation2 adventure title is on its way to the PSOne in ORDER to find more fans…
A rumour hitting the net today suggests that the excellent Playstation2 adventure title ICO may be on its way to the PSOne.
Whilst garnishing critical acclaim the title didnāt go on to receive the commercial success that it deserved. So the rumour suggests that the game may be ported over to the PSOne in time for Christmas in order to reach its wider audience and give the title a second chance.
Of course this is quite a wild rumour, ICO looked beautiful on the PS2 and any port would certainly loose something in the visual compromises that would have to be made, however stranger things have happened.
We would point to the lack of information available to the press before ICOās release as a reason for poor sales. ICO stumbled onto our laps without much interest or previous knowledge, however it certainly turned out to be an unsung classic.
