Capcom confirm a European release and chuck in StreetFighter: The Animated Movie for free...
Capcom today confirmed a European release for âHyper Streetfighter IIâ on the Playstation2, released in Japan last year to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the series.
Based on the popular StreetFII Turbo system, the game features all the different of each character ever to appear in a StreetFighter II title and places them in one game. However thatâs not all; whilst the game utilises the character sprites and sound samples from âSuper StreetFighter II Turboâ, each characterâs actions have been faithfully replicated from each specific game â“ so you could put Chun-Li from the original StreetFighter II, before she gained the ability to throw fireballs up against Chun-Li from Super StreetFighter II Turbo.
In addition Capcom confirmed that the game will include the manga film âStreetfighter II: The Animated Movieâ as an incentive.
âHyper Streetfighter IIâ is scheduled for release on April 30th for £19.99; weâll be chatting to the developers behind the legendary series soon.
