505 Games confirms 'We Cheer', a cheerleading game, heading to Wii in early 2009...
The seemingly inexhaustible list of 'active' games for Wii continues today, with confirmation from 505 Games that We Cheer will be heading to the Nintendo platform during the first quarter of 2009.
A cheerleading title that uses two Wii-remotes as pom-poms, We Cheer gives players the chance to perform in a cheerleading tournament or take part in an exercise 'Workout' mode. 505 has also announced that licensed tracks from the likes of Hilary Duff will make it into the final release.
If the prospect of swinging your arms about like an excitable drama student isn't enough, there'll also be a multiplayer mode, allowing four-player competitions in the 'Cheer Off' mode.
The prospect of getting We Cheer players doing their routines, whilst the gridiron gameplay of Madden is in full swing on a second console, is already crossing our minds...
