Search for fan-created character begins as the Freedom Fighters take on the Third Reich…
Irrational Games, the developers of the very first Freedom Fighters game back in 2002 are set to release their follow-up, Freedom Fighters vs The Third Reich next year; and to help them beat the Nazis, they have sent out a message requesting a new hero to join the prestigious ranks of the Freedom Fighters.
Fans of the title have been asked to develop a new comic-book character, with the winning hero participating in the new release and the designer earning a well earned credit at the end of the game.
Announcing the hunt for the new hero, Ken Levine, General Manager and Creative Director of Irrational Games said that, "'Freedom Force vs. the Third Reich' takes the series into the golden age with a host of new charactersâ¦Now anyone can get in the Nazi-punching action by creating his or her very own character for the game."
