Utilising a world leading, state of the art 3D engine, stunningly beautiful vistas of ancient Roman architecture are realised. The engine provides unrestricted freedom of movement, allowing the player to sweep over their creation; viewing Rome from a lofty vantage point, alongside the God's or down on street level, amongst the hustle and bustle of a population, some 100,000 strong.

Deep Red Games latest strategy/sim delayed until Q1 2007...


Paradox Interactive today sent word of a further delay to Deep Red Games latest PC strategy/simulator, Heart of Empire: Rome, until Q1 2007.

Scheduled to be published throughout the UK by Deep Silver, the title was intriguingly missing from their E3 line-up and wasn't featured in their forthcoming catalogue of releases.

No word has been given on the delay, which was originally due for release in October. Certainly Rome appears to be a popular theme for videogames, with forthcoming titles also including 2K Games CivCity: Rome and Vivnedi Games Caesar IV.
