Harker will bring to life the underbelly of the 18th Century World, taking players into diverse locations, areas never explored in history books, in a gritty, realistic art style that will fully immerse players in their environments. The game also features an incredible roster of blood-thirsty, shape-shifting vampires each with their own savage abilities, sometimes hiding in plain sight; the player may never know just how close they are.

Foundation 9 confirms its Dracula remake has been placed on a bed of garlic and crucifixes for the foreseeable future...

First announced in Autumn 2006, Harker was super-developer Foundation 9's own reworking of Bram Stoker's Dracula tale, focusing on the story from the perspective of Jonathan Harker.

Originally planned for launch during this year, nothing else has been heard from the depths of Transylvania since, leaving gamers questioning the current status of the title. Speaking to TVG, a representative from Foundation 9 has today confirmed that, "Harker has been placed on indefinite hold," adding, "There is not currently any work being done on it."

So for now, Dracula won't be rising from beyond the grave. At least Foundation 9's Double Helix Games, made up of Shiny Entertainment and former Harker developers, The Collective) continue to work on another creepy brand: Silent Hill V is expected to launch this year on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

This sounds awesome. I love Dracula and dark games in general. I wonder what platform they will use, though?
