Bungie announces new matchmaking playlist, describing it as the most unforgiving devised yet...
It may have been released eleven months ago but it seems that Halo 2 is still riding on the crest of an Xbox Live wave. With the nine multiplayer maps now free to download via the online service, Bungie has announced plans for the most arduous matchmaking playlist yet ā“ Team Hardcore.
Covering ten maps and around the same number of gametypes, Team Hardcore disables the Motion Sensor with an emphasis on teamwork and strategy (so thatās the TVG Nation owned then!) Not only that but weapon respawn times are doubled in the playlist, which will bring the facet of conserving energy to Halo 2 on Live, and long range arsenals such as the sniper rifle will be pretty much non-existent.
Though the list is still subject to change the playlist so far is compromised of the following:
- Backwash - Classic CTF
- Backwash - Crazy King
- Backwash - Rifles
- Beaver Creek - Classic CTF
- Beaver Creek - Crazy King
- Beaver Creek - Neutral Bomb
- Beaver Creek - Slayer
- Colossus - Snipers
- Elongation - Classic CTF
- Elongation - Crazy King
- Elongation - Oddball
- Elongation - Slayer
- Gemini - Crazy King
- Ivory Tower - Crazy King
- Ivory Tower - Oddball
- Ivory Tower - Slayer
- Ivory Tower - Snipers
- Lockout - Crazy King
- Lockout - Oddball
- Lockout - Slayer
- Lockout - Snipers
- Midship - Classic CTF
