Halo 3 will pick up where Halo 2 left off. The Master Chief is returning to Earth to finish the fight. The Covenant occupation of Earth has uncovered a massive and ancient object beneath the African sands - an object who's secrets have yet to be revealed. Earth's forces are battered and beaten. The Master Chief's AI companion Cortana is still trapped in the clutches of the Gravemind - a horrifying Flood intelligence, and a civil war is raging in the heart of the Covenant.

The Master Chief prepares to go mobile as In-Fusio signs a deal with Microsoft and Bungie...


Has the world gone mad? After rumours of Halo appearing on the Windows CE powered Gizmondo were disproved we thought it was the end of speculation of a mobile Master Chief ā“ how wrong we were.

Mobile Entertainment Company In-Fusio has today announced itās signed a deal with Bungie and Microsoft to bring Halo applications to mobiles with the first set of content due in North America by the end of the year. Exactly what form these āapplicationsā will take is yet to be announced ā“ how about a side-scrolling platform??? Letās hope itās a bunch of wallpapers and nothing elseā¦

"The 'Halo' franchise is an enormous force, conquering consoles, PCs, online play and soon the big screen," said Gilles Raymond, CEO, IN-FUSIO. "With IN-FUSIO as the mobile partner, the brand will now expand its reach to the millions of cell phone users around the world that make up the mobile community."

"This partnership is first and foremost a creative one focused on delivering mobile applications true to the 'Halo' universe," said Julian Corbett, Vice President, Business Development and Brand Partnerships, IN-FUSIO. "We are dedicated to expanding the franchise in ways that will be exciting for existing fans as well as delivering a fun and satisfying experience for a whole new audience."

Whether this will link into promotional material for Halo 3 will of course remain speculation; weāll be keeping a close eye on this one for sure...
