Master Chief's final appearance surfaces on the net days before his official release...
Following the release of Halo 3 by Argos across the UK earlier in the week, it seems Master Chief's return has been upset by a further mistake with the appearance of Halo 3 across numerous Warez sites and newsgroups.
The leaked ISO, in what is becoming an increasingly catastrophic state of affairs for Microsoft and Bungie, comes from the PAL territories suggesting that the earlier release blunder could be to blame. Of course, it's somewhat inevitable that such a high-profile title would make its way to the internet at some stage, though the fact it can probably be tracked back to such a mistake is particularly alarming.
At the time of writing Microsoft was unavailable for comment, though we expect a statement later in the day.
[UPDATE] A representative from Microsoft refused to comment on the situation however, they stressed to TVG that, "...we take the protection of our IP and copyrighted materials, and that of our partners, very seriously."
