Combined sales of the Halo franchise pass 11 million; gamers currently playing for over 90 minutes per session – Halo 2 has us hooked...
Microsoft today proudly proclaimed that sales of Halo 2 have passed the 5 million mark worldwide, with combined sales for the Halo franchise on both the Xbox and PC exceeding 11 million units.
In addition, Halo 2 is keeping us all glued to our Xboxâs, with a record-breaking 28 million hours currently logged by Xbox Live!, with gamers currently putting in an average of 91 minutes per session - we know the feeling, yet another quick blast turned into a 4 hour sesh last night lasting until 3:00AM!
As expected the success of Halo 2 has driven subscriptions to Xbox Live!, with Microsoft claiming that over 900,000 unique users have been attracted to Bungieâs title.
