Further to Friday’s exciting news that the long-awaited Halo 2 downloadable content will be available over the coming few months, Microsoft have today confirmed that the UK version will be going on sale on June 28th for £14.99.

The disc will contain nine new maps as well as a short animation describing the events down in New Mombasa at the time of the Covenant invasion, and a short documentary from Bungie.

With four weeks remaining until the first four maps become available to Live users, the anticipation of running around the icy Containment map or the Freerunner temple in Warlock is sure to build.
