Lombardi confirms that he would like to take Half Life 2 to as many platforms as possible…
DriverHeaven.net has recently posted an interview with Doug Lombardi, Director of Marketing Valve Software.
Whilst the interview throws up very little in the shape of new information, Lombardi does make interesting claims about the possibilities of other versions appearing, confirming that an Xbox version is in development and that Valve are talking with all the âconsole platform holdersâ and would like to bring Half Life 2 to as many platforms as possible.
Whilst itâs too early to tell whether or not other console versions will become available, this must surely come as welcoming news to those who want to see the eagerly awaited title on more then just the PC and Xbox.
Lombardi also answers a question about the future of Half Life, with the unsurprising claim that âwe have more stories weâd like to tell in the HL2 universeâ â“ Half Life 2 expansion pack confirmed then we feel.
