A limited edition gunmetal grey PS3 will be sold as part of an MGS4 bundle in the US...


SCEA's PlayStation.Blog has confirmed that a limited edition, gunmetal grey PS3 will be released in the US as part of an MGS4 bundle. This limited edition PS3 was previously confirmed for Japan when Famitsu magazine revealed the bundle last month.

Speaking for Konami Online on PlayStation.Blog, Brandon Laurino was quick to point out that this PS3 variant is part of a "Very, Very Limited Edition bundle!" And, if pre-orders in Japan are anything to go by (where the bundle has already sold out on the konamistyle website), then this forecast would appear to be accurate for the US as well.

Still no word on whether or not this MGS4, gunmetal grey PS3 bundle will come to Europe. With such limited numbers in Japan and the US, don't hold your breath.

I'm a little confused. Was Mr. Kojima going to end his highly acclaimed MGS franchise with the grand finale of having Solid Snake ascend up into heaven in a flying Porshe? Very interesting.

I dont really care how good it looks as long as it plays well.I think the best in the series is Solid on ps1.it plays great and and has a great story.stick to that and all is well in my book.Besides it will hit the 360 in a year or two.lol.be well al... [ Read full comment... ]

again.... it doesn't matter what console you use, its up to the developers to bring the goods...After all, what good is an xbox or ps3 if the games are no good. Stop arguing about which console is best, and just enjoy the games

360 is a little baby compared to the ps3 and which get sick more often ..
