Guitar Hero World Tour's Full Set-List Leaked??? News

A dubious list has emerged of all the tracks that will supposedly be appearing in Guitar Hero World Tour...

A full set-list of all the tracks that will apparently be appearing in Guitar Hero World Tour has popped up on various game forums across the internet.

There are a few reasons to believe this track listing. One is that it includes the two Jimi Hendrix tracks that have recently been confirmed by Activision. Another more compelling reason to give it the time of day is the listed "Eruption Tour", which is dedicated to the virtuosic guitarist Eddie Van Halen and the Van Halen band (which we already knew would feature in World Tour).

The tour refers to a couple of little known facts about Eddie himself: a) that he played the guitar solo on Michael Jackson's 'Beat It', and b) the tour's title, 'Eruption', is a reference to Eddie's guitar instrumental on the second track of Van Halen's first album.

Other tracks and tours on the list arouse a bit more suspicion. For example, the guitar battle against Sting seems a little unlikely as he made his name as a lead singer and bassist. Could this be the first boss battle in the series featuring a bassist? Our spidey sense is tingling with doubt.

Your thoughts on the legitimacy of this set-list would certainly be appreciated on the comment boards below, so we can satisfactorily debunk this particular rumour once and for all. Without further ado, here are the tracks:

I find is suspicious that they call the Tool songs "The Undertow Tour" when none of those songs are off of their Undertow album. Would love to see some Tool, though.

all i want to know is when do we get to start ripping our own cd's and mp3's into the game instead of just playing what they want us to play. Still a good list, but why can't i choose what songs i want, when i want

I'm pretty excited for the new GH.

I just hated the dead Kennedy's songs in the older versions. It's nothing without jello's nasally voice :D

I sincerely hope that this is the real list. To all the people saying it's fake simply because Neversoft is denying it, bear this in mind- the full tracklisting for Guitar Hero 3 leaked several months before the game's release, and they denied it as ... [ Read full comment... ]

Yeah, Hotel California would be awesome - one of the best guitar solos ever! You could do it as a boss battle where you have to keep up with an Eagles guitarist during the harmonised part of the solo.
