NCSoft and ArenaNet have today announced details of the forthcoming Guild Wars: Factions World Championship, which will take place at the Leipzig Game Convention between August 24th-27th 2006.
The climax of a three-game series that began on March 7th and continue until June 26th, the World Championship will see the top five guilds from across the world plus the winner of the Guild Wars Open Championship, face-off for the top prize of $100,000 and prizes. The winner will also get the chance to design the skill pins for next year's championship. Full competition details can be found at this address.
