Guild Wars: Ancient Egypt??? News

The rather Ancient Egyptian looking Guild Wars: Nightfall is confirmed as the title for the third campaign as a PvP preview event is announced...
NCsoft has today confirmed that the forthcoming third campaign in the subscription-free MMO, Guild Wars, will be known as Guild Wars: Nightfall. Set for release towards the end of 2006, Nightfall will see the introduction of two new character professions: the Dervish (described as scythe-wielding holy warriors), and the Paragon (guardian angels of the Elonian people). Looking at some of the characters, there's something of the Ancient Egyptian about them.
A beta-testing and PvP preview event will be staged over four days between 8am BST (9am CET) on July 28th and 8am BST (9am CET) on July 31st, allowing gamers to test some of the new arenas in development. Items collected during the preview event will then be exchangeable for rewards over the weekend.
The unique gameplay aspects set to feature in Nightfall are still to be announced by NCsoft; we'll have more on Guild Wars: Nightfall shortly...
