Monster Madness sees a group of teenagers pitted against an onslaught of supernatural enemies in a typical slice of small-town American suburbia. The games light-hearted approach to supernatural urban invasion involves a thick layer of horror satire, demonstrated in part by the 50 different enemy types - each one with their own offensive and defensive techniques for the player to overcome.

Gears of War collaborator's continuing work on the rechristened PS3 title...

Southpeak Interactive's Monster Madness: Battle for Suburbia may not have stirred too many 360 owners, but it seems the publisher is optimistic for the PS3 adaptation with confirmation of a new title and vast improvements.

Previously going under the title of Monster Madness: EX, the newly titled Monster Madness: Grave Danger promises a host of new and improved features, along with the provision that fan feedback "has been taken to heart".

Taking the decision to switch development from Artificial Studios to Psyonix Studios (who developed the Kryll flocking sequences in Gears of War), the US developer assures us they've taken the series back to the drawing board in an attempt to fully realise expectations.

Amongst the improvements are reconstructed camera angles, a tighter control setup, enhanced visuals and expanded online multiplayer modes. Responding to fan requests, Grave Danger will also see the inclusion of a four-player co-op mode, along with 20 new Challenge mini-games and 15 different costumes.
