By Jon Wilcox on 07/10/2008 Shinji Mikami and Suda 51's action horror game to use Epic Games' much licensed Unreal Engine 3...The definitive game engine of the generation, Epic Games' Unreal Engine 3, has picked up another licensee in the form of Grasshopper Manufacture.
The Japanese studio is currently working on an untitled action horror by Resident Evil's Shinji Mikami and Suda 51 for EA Partners, and follows in the footsteps of Capcom, 2K Games, Electronic Arts, Eidos, and SEGA to name but a few that have also signed up to the engine behind Gears of War.
"Unreal Engine 3 is a powerful, easy-to-implement game engine that is helping the creative team at Grasshopper quickly bring our vision to life," said Goichi Suda, CEO of Grasshopper Manufacture. "The innovative tools and technology in Unreal Engine 3 help developers create games faster, easier and with less risk."
"It's an honor to work with Mikami-san and Suda-san on their next project," said Jay Wilbur, vice president, Epic Games. "Grasshopper Manufacture is one of the most daring and innovative studios in the world, and we can't wait to see what they're able to do with Unreal Engine 3.

No More Heroes was such a letdown, I don't think I'll ever give a crap about a Suda 51 game. That thing really should've been at a budget price or finished.
