GT creator, Kazunori Yamuchi reveals some details regarding the online play of GT4.
Speaking at the Tokyo Amlux Auto Salon motor show in Japan, Gran Turismo creator, Kazunori Yamauchi revealed some exciting details regarding the next GT game.
As expected network play will be a heavy feature in Gran Turismo 4, however itās not just racing against other people as youāll also be able to download new vehicles and take a car for a test drive before buying it online with your credits.
Yamuchi was showing off Gran Turismo Amlux at the show, a variation containing only Toyota cars as a goodwill gesture for the manufacturers support for the GT franchise. The game has no new tracks, a retail release is doubtful even in Japan.
"Toyota was one of only three or four companies which were immediately supportive of the Gran Turismo series." said Yamuchi at the show.
GT4 is due for release in late 2003/early 2004, so you can guarantee weāll be hearing a lot more about this title in the future.
