Vivendi Universal deny claims that Half Life 2 has been canned for the Xbox...

Xbox fans can breathe a sigh of relief, as news today confirmed that an Xbox version of Half Life 2 is still very much in Vivendi Universalâ plans.

A report in yesterdayâs âPuget Sound Business Journalâ claimed that an Xbox representative had insisted that the seminal shooter wouldnât be coming to the machine; however a VU spokesperson today denied the claims, ensuring that further details on the Xbox version would be released later in the year.

Weâll keep a close eye on the situation, however weâd advise Xbox gamers to treat nothing as certain â“ remember what happened to Half Life on the Dreamcast?
