UK Prime Minister outlines his fears as part of The Sun's campaign against knife crime...

In the latest clampdown against gun crime in the UK, Prime Minister Gordon Brown has outlined his fears over videogames in an exclusive interview with The Sun.

Exclaiming, "I am very worried about video and computer games." Brown states, "No one wants censorship or an interfering State," before adding, "but the industry has some responsibility to society and needs to exercise that."

While the furore surrounding Manhunt 2 dispute continues to wrangle between Rockstar Games and the BBFC, it seems as though videogames and the issue of censorship and industry responsibility will continue to come under harder scrutiny in the coming months - particularly with GTA4 on the way.
